Mental Health

Your mental health is just as important as your physical health. Taking care of your mental well-being is essential for overall wellness. It’s normal to experience stress, anxiety, or low mood at times, but it’s essential to seek support when needed. Remember, you’re not alone. Whether it’s talking to a trusted friend, seeking counseling, or practicing self-care activities like exercise and relaxation techniques, there are many ways to support your mental health. Prioritize self-care, seek help when needed, and remember that it’s okay not to be okay sometimes. Your mental health matters and taking care of it is a crucial part of leading a fulfilling life.

If you need to speak to someone regarding your mental health or medication, please call the surgery to speak to our Mental Health Physician Shabnam.

Domestic Abuse

Domestic Abuse is a pervasive and damaging reality affecting individuals across all demographics. It encompasses physical, emotional, and psychological harm inflicted by an intimate partner or family member. Recognizing the signs of domestic abuse is crucial for intervention and support. It can manifest through controlling  behavior, isolation from loved ones, threats, intimidation, and physical violence. Victims often suffer in silence, fearing stigma or retaliation. However there is help available. If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic abuse, seek assistance from your local support services or help lines. Remember you are not alone, and there are people who can help you.
