Please allow 48 hours (2 working days) to process your prescription.
Please note, in the interest of safety and confidentiality, we can not accept telephone requests for prescriptions.
You can arrange to collect your prescriptions from a pharmacy of your choice. For this service you will be issued with a batch of prescriptions (usually for 3 – 6 month period), providing you are on stable medication which you take to your pharmacist.
NHS prescriptions issued by hospitals are only valid in hospital pharmacies.
Request for private prescriptions or for NHS hospital prescriptions to be issued from the practice needs to be individually assessed by a practice doctor. This may result in issuing of an alternative medication.
Sometimes we may have to decline requests for issuing such prescriptions.
For more information on free or reduced prescription charges visit the patient uk website.
Local pharmacies collect prescriptions from us daily. If you would like to collect your prescription directly from the pharmacy, please let us know and state from which pharmacy you would like to collect.
The following pharmacies offer a prescription collection service.
